Park Guidelines

Thank you for choosing our campground. We appreciate your co-operation in observing the following guidelines so everyone can enjoy their stay. Failure to abide by these could result in you being asked to leave the campground without a refund.

RESERVATIONS: Reservations are taken year-round. Peak Season reservations made prior to March 1 must be for a minimum of 7 nights. July and August long weekend reservations made after March 1 must be for a minimum of 3 nights. All reservations must be held with a valid credit card (see deposits and payment). Future year reservations made prior to October 1 are subject to change (ie: rates/site).

DEPOSITS AND PAYMENT:
A deposit is required via credit card at the time of booking equal to the lesser of $150 or the balance of your reservation. For all reservations, the remaining balance is due in full and will be processed automatically to the card on file 30 days prior to your arrival or May 1 for RV Rentals. 

CANCELLATION POLICY:
 If more than 30 days' notice is given, a $50 booking fee will be charged. If less than 30 days' but greater than 14 days notice is given, a $100 booking fee will be charged. If less than 14 days notice is given, the reservation is non-refundable. See below for RV Rental policy. Shortened stays and date changes for peak season reservations are considered cancellations for fee purposes. No refunds on early departures. In the case of smoke/fire/storms/road conditions etc: the above cancellation policy stands at all times. It is the responsibility of the guest to acquire trip or travel cancellation insurance through your chosen provider.

RV RENTALS: A non-refundable deposit is due at the time of booking. The remaining balance is due in full on May 1 and will be processed automatically to the card on file on that date, at which time the full reservation is non-refundable. One dog permitted per unit (except unit 12 which is pet free), $50 pet fee applies. One vehicle. No tents.

REGISTRATION:
All sites are assigned by the office. All people and vehicles including guests must be registered. Maximum 2 guests. Office hours vary with the season.

CHECK-IN TIME:
 Between 2 pm and 8 pm. If you think you may need to arrive after 8 pm, please contact the office to make arrangements. Check-ins are not permitted past 10 pm. 
 
CHECK OUT TIME:
 Sites=Noon, RV Rentals=10 am. If you wish to stay additional nights, please check with the office by 10 am to see if space is available.

QUIET TIME: Quiet time is from 10 pm to 8 am and is strictly enforced. All music must be off by 10 pm, all conversations must be whisper quiet by 11 pm. Loud music, noise, and parties will not be tolerated at any time. Guests must leave the park by 10 pm.

VEHICLES:
 ONE vehicle and ONE RV per site. One extra vehicle may be considered on an exception basis, check with the office for eligibility ($5/night fee applies). All vehicles must be properly parked within site boundaries at all campsites. There is no overflow or parking lot for excess vehicles or boats outside of your reserved campsite. Online booking site lengths reflect bumper to hitch length of RV.

BOATS: NO boats are to be parked within the campground. All boats must be parked in designated, reserved boat parking sites. Boat parking reservations are limited and should be reserved in advance online or by phone. 

TENTS:
One tent per site for unserviced tent sites. Exceptions may be made for cyclists or motorcyclists with one-person tents. Additional tents on RV sites (other than RV Rentals) may be considered on an exceptional basis only, check with the office for eligibility. 

SEWER CONNECTION:
Sewer hoses must have proper connectors for an air-tight seal. These may be purchased at the office.

GARBAGE AND RECYCLING:
Please put your garbage and sorted recycling in the bins provided in the central garbage area. Household garbage only (ie large items or batteries, etc.) To keep bears and other animals away please ensure your site is clean with no food or garbage left outside.

CAMPFIRES: 
  • Small campfires (0.5m high x 0.5m diameter, 19"x19") are permitted in sites with fire pits only and must be contained within the pit.
  • Please DO NOT MOVE the fire pits.
  • Fires must be attended at all times and extinguished when leaving.
  • Propane fire pits and BBQs can be used in all sites.
  • Propane fire pits available for rent at the office.
  • Firewood is available at the office.


VEGETATION: Do not cut or trim or damage any vegetation. This includes cutting hotdogs sticks, trimming branches, cutting trees and etc.

MATS:
Mats laid over grassy areas must be moved regularly and not left out over extended periods of time in order to prevent damage to the vegetation.

ALCOHOL:
Alcoholic beverages and cannabis are allowed at your site only.

PLAYGROUNDS Are unsupervised and are at your own risk. Children should be under the supervision of an adult.

POOL RULES: See posted rules.
  • Only registered guests are permitted in the pool.
  • An adult must accompany children under the age of 14.
  • There is NO LIFEGUARD on duty, use the pool at your own risk.
  • Children in diapers must wear health department swim diapers (available at the office).
  • No food or glass allowed in the pool area.


SMOKING:
Smoking is permitted at your site only. No smoking in or around any buildings. No smoking in RV rentals. Please extinguish butts in proper containers.

PETS:

  • Pets are welcome but are your responsibility. Please control and/or clean up after your pet on & off the park.
  • Pets must be on a leash and under control at all times.
  • Clean up all "messes" and deposit bag into garbage bin (bags are provided at the office & garbage/recycling area)
  • Don't leave pets unattended in your unit or at your site.
  • Noisy, aggressive, or unruly pets will not be tolerated.
  • No pets allowed for RV or cabin rentals. 


RESTRICTIONS:

  • Washing of muddy vehicles/RVs are not permitted.
  • No major repairs or oil changes to vehicles.
  • Please do not wash clothing or dishes in the restrooms.
  • No unsightly clotheslines, generators, fireworks, firearms, or illegal activities
  • No unsafe or inappropriate activities.


NOTICE TO USERS OF THE CAMPGROUND FACILITIES ASSUMPTION OF RISK AND WAIVER AND RELEASE OF CLAIMS

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY

"Activities" shall mean, without limitation, all activities in any way associated with or related to water sports, recreational vehicle camping, hiking, fishing, and any recreational activities offered by Christina Pines Campground, as well as but not limited to use of play structures, picnic areas, fields, swimming pools, walking paths, roads, grounds and parking lots. "Property" shall mean, without limitation, any premises, lands, buildings, facilities, play structures, fields, swimming pools, walking paths, roads, grounds, and parking lots and equipment owned or leased by Christina Pines Campground. The "CAMPGROUND USERS" shall mean, the registered camper(s) and all persons entering under the registered camper(s)' supervision, being permitted to camp and participate in the activities at Christina Pines Campground. In consideration of Christina Pines Campground allowing the CAMPGROUND USERS onto its Property to use and enjoy the Property and to participate in Activities, the CAMPGROUND USERS agree as follows:

1. THE CAMPGROUND USERS ASSUME AND ACCEPT, WITHOUT LIMITATION, ALL RISKS, AND DANGERS associated with the CAMPGROUND USERS' use and enjoyment of the Property and participation in any of the Activities.

2. THE CAMPGROUND USERS ASSUME FULL RESPONSIBILITY for understanding and following the rules and safe practices associated with the use and enjoyment of the Property, participation in any of the Activities, and for his or her own personal safety.

3. THE CAMPGROUND USERS WAIVE ANY AND ALL CLAIMS that he or she has or may have in the future against Christina Pines Campground and its directors, officers, employees, agents, volunteers, contractors and assigns arising from or connected, directly or indirectly, with the CAMPGROUND USERS' presence at, or use and enjoyment of, Christina Pines Campground's Property, and the CAMPGROUND USERS' presence at, or participation in, any of the Activities.

4. THE CAMPGROUND USERS RELEASE Christina Pines Campground from any and all liability for any loss, damage, injury, or expense that he or she may suffer or incur by reason of his or her presence at, or use and enjoyment of, the Property, and presence at, or participation in, any of the Activities, due to any cause whatsoever, INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE, BREACH OF CONTRACT, OR BREACH OF ANY STATUTORY DUTY OF CARE, INCLUDING ANY DUTY OF CARE OWED UNDER ANY APPLICABLE OCCUPIERS' LIABILITY LEGISLATION ON THE PART OF CHRISTINA PINES CAMPGROUND, OR OTHER PARTICIPANTS, OR ANYONE ELSE.
